Fall Fling

The OBS Fall Fling is October 7 and 8, 2017 at Red Oak Campground in Okmulgee State Park. This is a club favorite!

Drive to the park and camp on Friday night or meet us at Red Oak Campground Saturday morning. Just keep a lookout for the OBS banner and a lot of people smartly dressed in OBS jerseys.

Tent sites are $12.00 per site. Motor homes are $20 or more depending on what hookups you need.

Showers are coin operated, so bring your quarters.

If camping is not your thing, the town of Okmulgee is just 5 miles east of the campground.

If you arrive Friday, Ike’s is a favorite for dinner Friday night and has everything from burgers to grilled fish. The name may have been changed, but it is still at 204 S. Morton Ave on the west side of the square and the food is still great.

9:00 a.m. is the start time to ride to Henryetta for brunch on Saturday morning. And of course our World Famous Potluck Dinner will be Sat night at 6 pm. Wondering what you can bring for the potluck dinner? Things like salads, rolls, desserts, casseroles, Dutch oven dinners, veggie trays and chips are all good ideas. Also, don’t forget to bring your own plates, utensils, drinking cups and beverage.

Sunday morning we will ride to Okmulgee for breakfast, and then circle the two lakes (optional), Okmulgee and Dripping Springs. This is a hilly route but very scenic. Starting time will be announced Sat night at the Pot Luck.

If you have any questions, contact Debe Judah at (918) 406-6597 or dsjudah at yahoo.com.

Directions from OKC: Take I-40 East to Hwy 56 North near Okemah. As Hwy 56 circles around the north end of Okmulgee lake, look for signs directing you to the Okmulgee State Park campgrounds on the east side of the lake. We'll be camping at Red Oak Campground. And if you’re coming from Tulsa, ya' probably already know how to get there!
