Here are some maps of the trail location:

Overall view:

Here are the detailed maps

( shown in black ) The trail starts at the Lake Hefner trail parking lot at NW Expressway and Meridian. It follows Meridian south, across 63rd, then east to Portland. Then south to 56th street, east to I-44/Grand Blvd. and south to 50th.
The map below shows ( in red ) an alternate route for cyclists that would wind trough the quiet neighborhood streets, by-passing the possible risky intersections of 63rd and Tulsa and the intersection of NW highway and Portland. This alternate route is being proposed to city planners by OBS members.

It crosses 50th, then south to cross 39th ( Rt. 66 ) at the light at St. Clair. Then east on 38th.

Cross 36th and ride nest to Will Rogers park. there will be a new parking lot near the trail. Continue south past 23rd.

The trail crosses to the east side of I-44 at 16th, then south into the Fairgrounds. The trail will pass around the fairgrounds along 10th and south on May.

The trail will cross Reno and May and end up at the river on the north side. A new parking lot will be added there.

This shows the details for the location of a new sidewalk at NW 56th and Portland to facilitate the alternative bicycle route through the neighborhood. Red is the current plans for the trail, which crosses Portland at NW Highway. The blue shows the location of a new sidewalk along the west side of Portland between 56th and 57th. Green shows the route of the alternative cycling route being proposed to city planners.
