HomeRides - Fall Fling

Fall Fling - October 18-19, 2025

Drive to the park and camp on Friday night or meet us at Red Oak Campground Saturday morning. Just keep a lookout for a lot of people smartly dressed in OBS jerseys. We will leave the camping area at 9:00 AM.

Tent sites are $13 per site. Motor homes are $22 or more depending on what hookups you need. Senior citizen discounts available. NOTE: This is NOT a state park. Pick you site, then go the park office and pay. There's no online reservation service, at least none that we can find. First come, first served.

Showers are coin operated, so bring your quarters.

If camping is not your thing, the town of Okmulgee is just 5 miles east of the campground.

If you arrive Friday, Kirby's is a fine choice for dinner Friday night--basic home-style meals but it's GOOD! It's located at 210 W 6th St. in downtown Okmulgee. (918-756-8480).

9:00 a.m. is the start time to ride to Henryetta for lunch on Saturday morning. The preferred restaurant is Classic Diner at 219 W. 6th.

We will have the World Famous OBS Potluck Dinner on Saturday night at 6:00. Bring something to share with the group, plates, bowls, eating utensils and something to serve your food if needed. ALSO, don't forget your lawn chair or camp chair.

On Sunday morning, we will ride to Okmulgee for breakfast.

If you have any questions, contact John Wente -  405-918-0893 (please, leave a message if no answer) or email jwente49@cox.com.

Directions from OKC: Take I-40 East to Hwy 56 North near Okemah. As Hwy 56 circles around the north end of Okmulgee lake, look for signs directing you to the Okmulgee Lake campgrounds on the east side of the lake. We'll be camping at Red Oak Campground. And if you’re coming from Tulsa, ya'll probably already know how to get there!
