Spring Fling 2024
Where: Buckhorn Campground Area C & D, Lake of the Arbuckles (near Sulphur, OK)
When: May 11-12 (April date was rained out) NOTE: The start time on Saturday will be 9:30 AM!
Do you like gravel grinding? We've got that. Prefer lightly traveled paved roads? We've goth that too. Both are in a very scenic area with lots of beautiful vistas. Part of the longer road route travels along the meandering Washita River.
Departure time on Saturday will be 9:30 AM from the restroom/shower facility in Loop C.
There will be a lawn chair social in or near the parking lot after the event. No pot luck dinner this year.
Don't forget to bring a lawn chair or camp chair unless you just like to stand up all the time.
Sunday will be a jaunt into Sulphur for breakfast and back to camp. Sunday's departure time will be announced Saturday evening.
There is no fee for this event, but all participants are responsible for their own camping fees and food.
