Weekly Group Rides

DONUT RIDE

9:04 AM Year-round [MAP]             Details: Click  HERE

Starting location: East end of Will Rogers Park Tennis Center parking lot, 400 N Portland Ave, OKC.

Our favorite donut shop, Brown's Bakery, closed in July of 2023. So for now the Donut Ride goes to Kamp's 1910 Cafe at 10 NE 10th Street, approximately 12 miles round-trip. It is designed for entry-level or family riders.  The ride leader adjusts the group speed to that of the slowest rider.  A scenic route is used but is adjusted to fit the abilities of the riders.

After a break, the ride splits into various groups. The ride leader will lead a group directly back to Will Rogers Park. Other groups are ad hoc and usually include some who go back through downtown to the State Fairgrounds before returning to the park on the Will Rogers Trail. Others may ride to the Oklahoma River Trails and take various routes back to the park. These groups are generally at a faster pace and are all a longer distance than the direct return to the park.

SUITABLE FOR NEW RIDERS AND FAMILY GROUPS. No-Drop policy.
