Some Good News Regarding Oklahoma Cycling Laws

GOOD NEWS FOR CYCLISTS! HB1770 passed the Oklahoma House yesterday by a margin of 76-13! On to the Senate! HB1770 allows cyclists to treat stop signs as yields and red lights as stop signs. Also included is the update to hand signals so that a cyclist can lawfully use the right hand to signal a right turn. The part regarding motorists taunting riders and honking their horn was removed because of problems with its language.
